With Emmanuel Adebayor stating his desire to leave, Arsene Wenger is reportedly turning his attention towards Dutch striker Klass-Jan Huntelaar. With top clubs around the world chasing after the bright Ajax youngster, it is believed that Arsenal are prepared to pay a price of around £21 million.

Felipe Scolari has made his first signing as Chelsea manager as he brings Portuguese midfielder Deco to London for £7.9 million. At 30 years old, it will be interesting to see how Deco copes with the speed and physicality of the English game.
This transfer paves the way for Frank Lampard to leave the club for Inter Milan. With Lampard, Ballack, Essien, Obi Mikel, and now Deco on the books in center midfield, surely there is room to lose one.

Spain 1-0 GermanySpain deservedly beat Germany 1-0 to win their first major tournament in 44 years. With the tournament’s leading scorer missing (David Villa), Spain relied on Fernando Torres to outpace the German defense as he slotted home past Jens Lehmann.
Throughout the entire match Spain proved to be the better side and few can argue they didn’t deserve to win Euro 2008. With only one shot on goal Germany just didn’t have enough to cope with Spain’s intricate midfield play and pacy attack.

In yet another story of Premiership stars moving, it appears that Emmanuel Adebayor is set to join Barcelona. While nothing is official yet, Premiership Talk believes that Adebayor is certainly leaving the Emirates Stadium. His destination might not be Barcelona, but everything indicates Ade is on his way out.
