Breaking news coming out of London is that David Bentley and Tottenham Hotspurs are in advanced discussions over a transfer. Blackburn are resigned to losing their star winger and Tottenham are willing to pay the price following Robbie Keane’s departure.

On July 1st Premiership Talk was the only website to announce Arsenal’s signing of Werder Bremen midfielder Amaury Bischoff. A few complications and delays got in the way, but today Arsenal unveiled their new midfielder.
Bischoff is another young signing by Wenger, but the 21 year is old is expected to get his chance in the first team this season. As a Portuguese U23 standout, Bischoff already knows what’s it like playing against some of the world’s best players.

New Fulham striker Andy Johnson is leaving Goodison Park, but not before giving Everton fans one last gift. Johnson’s departure is enabling David Moyes and the Everton board to increase their offer for Portuguese sensation Joao Moutinho, and most likely will allow the club to complete his signing.
