Big Sam is Back

The man who has been linked with every vacant job available since his somewhat premature departure from Newcastle, Blackburn have today announced the big man as Paul Ince’s predecessor on a three year deal to the delight of the Rovers faithful.
Struggling Blackburn have wasted no time in appointing a new man at the helm, having sacked Paul Ince on Tuesday due to the club’s poor league position and reported lack of harmony in the dressing room under the ex-United man. The chairman made it known he wanted his man in …

For those of you that aren’t familiar with these two players, you soon will be. Joaquin was once touted the greatest young winger in the world. His career hasn’t taken off as planned, but he is still a regular in the Spanish national side, ahead of the likes of Mikel Arteta in …

As a proud United fan for many years, I have witnessed a great number of very talented players come through the Old Trafford doors. I have also seen a select few of these players become managers. Roy Keane, Mark Hughes, Steve Bruce, and now Paul Ince, to name a few. To be honest, I never expected Ince to delve into football management’s long corridors. Even more unexpected, in his relatively short managerial career, he has already been a shock success.
Just ask Macclesfield and MK Dons fans. Keeping Macclesfield up after …
